About Us
Located in South Florida, Y&D Machine Shop has removed the guesswork from the shopping experience. The cylinder heads we sell are guaranteed to fit the applications we list. We also have custom building options available for any obsolete or late model heads that you may have trouble locating. All work is done on our premises and starts with a complete tear-down and thorough inspection of every head entering our shop. After a complete evaluation of all components, the cylinder head undergoes a 3-step thermal cleaning and magnafluxing process followed by a pressure testing tank that checks for cracks and imperfections. Afterward, the machinist resurfaces the cylinder head to eliminate the possibility of head warpage, and valve seats are cut. Each valve is machine dressed at the stem and face, conforming with OEM specs. All springs are tension tested, and worn rocker studs are replaced when necessary. In addition, new freeze plugs, pollution plugs, valve keepers, and valve seals are installed. The cylinder head is then vacuum tested to ensure proper seating of all valves. Finally, the cylinder head receives a final inspection and heat tabs are installed.

Return Policy
"Y&D Cylinder Heads" that have not been bolted to the block and less than 30 days after the package has been received, may be returned. A 10% restocking fee will be subtracted from your refund. Heads that have been run, or bolted onto the engine for any time may not be returned for refund, only exchanged if we shipped the incorrect head.
Shipping Policy
All cylinder heads will be shipped (FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery) only to a verified PayPal address. Order cancelations after they are shipped will be subject to a
10%
restocking fee. Buyer responsible for shipping.
Warranty
30 Day Warranty. "YND Cylinder Heads" warrants that all products will be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under normal operating conditions. Subject to limitations set forth, Y & D Machine Shop will replace the product within the warranty period upon the determination that cylinder head is defective. All warranty product claims must be requested through eBay and must be returned to Y & D Machine Shop. All warranty claims will be properly inspected to determine that the part is defective.
Warranty Does Not Cover
Damage caused by improper installation, accidental overheating, abuse or neglect.
Loss of time, use of a vehicle, phone calls, inconvenience or consequential charges, fluids, tow charges, rentals or diagnosis.
Repairs made without prior authorization will void all warranties.
Warranty Requirements
Proof of Purchase is required for any repair to be covered by this Warranty. The repair of replaced parts shall be covered by this Warranty for the remaining period of the warranty.
Warranty only applies if the cylinder head is identical to the original cylinder head which it replaces and if a qualified mechanic representing the standards and installation procedure shown by approved manuals carefully installs it.
Warranty only covers normal use. Damages to the cylinder head attributable to improper installation, misuse, improper use, alterations, modifications or accident will cause the Warranty to be null and void
Any repairs done without our prior authorization shall cause this Warranty to be null and void. All claims must be submitted within thirty (30) calendar days of the cylinder head failure.
Except to the extent of Prohibited by Applicable Laws, no other warranties whether expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply to the purchased cylinder head. Under no circumstances shall Y & D Machine Shop be liable for consequential damages sustained, including towing, vehicle rental, hotel accommodations, meals, lost time, damages caused to engine parts other than the engine cylinder head.
Note: A "Heat Level Indicator" (aka Heat Tab) is installed on each of our cylinder heads. Should the center part of such indicator melt or be modified following engine overheating, or should it be removed, this Warranty shall become null and void.
Note: In case of any defect, please contact us immediately via eBay in order to receive the proper instructions prior to removing the engine cylinder head.
