The same expensive glass used refractors to eliminate color fringing problems. You can unscrew the lens and screw it into your 2" eyepiece. This is a quality, multi-coated versatile Barlow in that the Barlow lens cell is removable from the base of the Barlow barrel. You can screw it onto the end of any 2" eyepiece that is threaded for 48mm telescope 2-inch filters. It comes with a 2" to 1.25" adapter, top plug, and bottom cap & screw-on bolt case. Has brass compression rings to protect your valuable eyepieces.
