70mm f/4 Objective with cap* Telescope * Finder * Spotting Scope

Here is a very nice  F/4 70mm Objective doublet that is a cemented achromat with beautiful coatings .
Focal length is 280mm . Very good lens assembly leaving building possibilities only to your imagination.
Complete with Rubber-Armored housing and front Dust cover, and multi-coated lenses.
This lens can be used for a variety of projects such as a Giant Telescope finder, Small portable spotting scope,  surveillance cameras , or a piggy-back astro-photography camera.
The outside diameter of the cell is about 3-1/4 inches
Customers have finished these as projects using anything from cardboard tubes, PVC, wooden slats, to machined aluminum adapters. We do sell complete finders/spotting scopes if you don't want to make it yourself,
but this auction is selling just the objective, cell, and dust cap for those "do-it-yourself" enthusiasts that want to make their scope themselves.
