    This 60° 5-element eyepiece series is the successor to the Meade 5000 plossls and predecessor to the Explore Scientific 62° LER series. Compared to these two other eyepiece lines, the Bresser 5-element "Plössl" series have a more streamlined outer housing, giving them the advantage of less weight compared to the corresponding focal lengths of the Meade 5000- or the ES62 series.
