BROTHER KH-881 KNITTING MACHINE Palie8 & KR-850 RIBBING ATTACHMENT on Table. Since I am not a knitter I do not know how to use these machines so I can not tell you how well they work. The user had them set up on the table as in the pictures so I assume they were being used as they are. The knitter is in it's own metal case and the ribbers original box is what it will be packed in for shipping. I have went through the list of items that was to come with these machines and this is what appears to be missing. A Tapestry needle, Oil, Cast-on thread, Crochet Needle, Motif knitting cam M (2 pcs.), One-point cam and Motif knitting cam L & R (1 each) These may or may not be already attached to the knitter or heads and I do not know what I am looking for. There are 20 punch cards included. I also made a copy of the users manual off of the internet. As for the ribbing machine it appears all of the parts are accounted for.
These machines are being sold as is with no guarantees, please look at the pictures and ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them. There are extra weights and a lot of extra needles.
The Brother KH881 is a punchcard machine with built-in half scale knitleader. It can do fairisle and single motif knitting because it has KC1 and KC2 positions, which control end needle selection. It was one of the last standard gauge punchcard machines produced by Brother, so has a lot of features built in.

The KR-850
This is the standard gauge ribber. It goes with most 800 and 900 series knitting machines. It can do slip and tuck, and using the lili buttons (small round white knobs, one either side) it can do a bird's eye backing on double bed jacquard.
The swing lever at the bottom can be used to tighten the tension.
