This listing is for one (1) Celestron 1-1/4" Moon/Planetary Filter.  There is no box for this filter.  It will be in a plastic zip-lock bag.
This filter reduces the brightness of the moon and improves contrast so that you can see more detail.  The clear aperture is 21mm and the transmission is about 18%.  It is a must for viewing the moon.  It can also be used for planetary viewing to bring out different features.
