    Description

    Puerto Rican born Edgardo "Eddie" Romero (Rivera) (b.1957) is a former right-handed hitting utility infielder for 12 seasons for the Brewers (1977 & 1980-1985 & 1989), Red Sox (1986-1989), and Braves (1989). He hit .247 in 730 games, with 8 HRs, and 155 RBIs, and also played in 1 ALDS, 2 ALCS & 1 W.S., hitting .200 in 6 games. Romero later manager in the minors for 14 seasons, and coached for the Astros (2008-2009).
