I did my best to photograph the surface imperfections. I have not been able to identify any impact on the photographs I've taken. I believe the provided PixInsight analysis of the flat confirms the optical path imperfections in my telescope setup are not related to this item's surface imperfections.
Please do web research. It will confirm small amounts of dust (or optical imperfections) cause little (and/or correctable) image degradation. This is the reason experts suggest avoiding unnecessary cleaning/handling of optics.
The veil nebula and hummingbird example photos were taken with a telescope using this item. The veil nebula photo is one of my first astro-photos. Because I was far from the hummingbird, it ignored me and was reacting to an approaching hummingbird.
The item be provided in original packaging. Please identify any adapters you need, I may be able to add it to the sale. I have a couple made by precise parts.
