    Description

    white 3x5 INDEX CARD SIGNED by HAL DUES, former major league baseball pitcher. This index card has a Montreal Expos logo sticker at the top left corner. The back of the index card (not shown) has damage from being removed from a scrapbook. The autograph is personalized "Best Wishes & Good Luck Skip - Hal Dues." The autograph is also dated "9/28/89".
    Dues signed with the Montreal Expos as a free agent in 1974. He pitched for the Expos in 1977, 1978 and 1980. In 37 games with 17 starts he posted a record of 6-8 with a low 3.08 ERA. After unsuccessful Tommy John surgery forced him into retirement at the age of 27 he opened a local bar called "The Dugout" in his hometown of Dickinson, Texas. He later was a beer and wine sales rep. Later in life he owned a Pepperidge Farm franchise.
