    Description

Telescope Reducer Flattener 0.80x Photoline Multi Coated And Aluminum Body
    Main features:
Reduces an astrophotography refractor's effective focal length by a factor of 0.8x, providing a shorter, more optically fast focal ratio. Designed for use with refractor telescope . Enables a refractor to both acquire a larger field of view and to capture bright, detailed astrophotos in considerable less time.
    Reducing lens:
The focal length of the astronomical telescope is fixed, and the focal ratio is also fixed. In astrophotography, sometimes the original focal length of the telescope is too long or the focal ratio is too dark, which is not conducive to the photography of nebulae and star clusters (nebula and star cluster photography requires a large field of view). Use a set of lenses to shorten the focal length of the telescope to make the focal ratio brighter, expand the image range and correct the image field and aberrations. This kind of optical accessory is called a reducer. The focus reducing lens can shorten the focal length of the telescope to about 0.6 -0.8x of the original focal length, but the degree of focus reduction should not be too large, otherwise the image quality around the field of view will be reduced.
    F-Theta lens:
The F-Theta lens is to add a thick half-moon lens to the lens system of the objective lens to correct the defects of field curvature and improve the imaging quality at the edge of the field of view. It is a set of lenses used to correct the unevenness of the telescope's field of view. The image plane formed by the telescope is not flat, but curved. If you connect the camera for direct focus photography, you will find that the star points around the edges of the photo are radial, which is curvature of field. With the addition of the F-Theta lens, the image plane can be corrected to be flat, so there will be no problem of star points being radial when doing direct focus photography.
